our economy is based on our "need" for things
...So this is really a losing battle?
Of course not! But it is certainly uphill battle. Its not a war that is won on a battlefield, fought in one hour or even for one day.
But it is - with a little diligence and self-awareness - a war we can win. One of the aspects of the disorder need to keep in mind that his great respect for the laws of nature.
Universal Law of Attraction Disorder
Clutter follows one of the greatest laws in the universe: the law of attraction. Maybe you've never thought about the Law of Attraction to clutter the mind, but the mess seems to duplicate the magical and gloriously manifest (just our luck, now is not ?)
a little bit more of disorder attracts a mess ... that attracts only a little more ... Well, certainly the idea of law "of attraction disorder" at work in my house! Pay attention to a shirt that was accidentally made it's way to the floor. When it becomes two shirts (accidentally of course), it will almost immediately become 3.4, and then a bunch of fifth Watch it happen as if by magic, and you'll start to believe in the law with all my heart. Now if we can just get the money to work that way! To make the system!
a new and very popular goal in this consumer-oriented society to keep our homes as free from the accumulation of useless stuff. We are beginning to understand that when we let one or two things in our house, I swear to send invitations to their friends and family. "Come on over" pieces of disorder calls out, "water is fine and has plenty of space !"
After these riots invitations go out - we are doomed to fail
and it gets worse, some believe it may even help prevent our financial and spiritual path. (No, I do not make this stuff up, I'm serious.) According to Feng Shui experts, if your home does not have a clear path to allow good movement of Qi (pronounced chee) to flow through it, you'll fight, not only spiritual, but potentially financially as well.
Clutter leads to negative energy hanging around
Qi, incidentally, is the Chinese word for "power", good energije.Svrha Feng Shui to arrange your home to attract good energy - and all the rewards that go with it -. I sweep all the negative energy
Clutter helps that negative energy around the plant and also stops the movement of good chi. Thus, the disorder is not acceptable in a house that has been properly assessed for the ultimate benefits of Feng Shui.
My professional organizing colleagues also echoed these sentiments. We often suggest to de-clutter your house through a process of eliminating items that do not need, you can actually help you increase your level of productivity at work.
I am happy to report that the day after the client has donated clunky old storage cabinet, and all it's content, has signed a major contract with a new customer. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Whatever the reason, it certainly gave her a kick in the pants to continue on the road cleaning and organizing your home!
But what people do? Clutter seems to be a necessary evil of our consumer society. Even when we returned from a shopping trip, we flip television only to see the commercials tell us that absolutely can not live without another device, device or invention.
As we put our new purchases away, many of us discover we have no storage space, and the backlog of previous purchases.
watching the news shows such as interview new authors and their books. We decide, after we saw them on Good Morning America, CNN and even The Daily Show, that I absolutely must read this book. So we buy it (and thanks to the web, you need not even leave the house to do more!) And the book is sitting, unread on the floor in the living room or on the bed stand.
But even worse, in the eyes of some people, the amount of time we waste looking for a particular object, because the mess we have accumulated in our homes, and now spills out of control in our home offices.
Some experts say that the average American spends one year of their lives searching for misplaced items I have known some individuals who obviously spend much more time than that in this quest!
When I worked in the corporate world, I had a supervisor who kept so much paperwork to fill his entire basement. We worked out of his rather large basement. Between the ads and catalogs of our competitors, and daily sales count of ... Well, let's just say the years ... had at least three folding tables full of paperwork he rarely uses the whole ping-pong table.
But when he needed it to be a vital piece of paper ... Nope, could not be found. He's usually good to lose three quarters of an hour looking for it.
